Six players attend World Juniors

Six players will be suiting up for their countries at the World Junior Championships

(Guelph, ON) — Six players will be representing their countries at the World Junior Championships in Toronto, Ontario and Montreal Quebec during seasons when each of them has excelled in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), United States Hockey League (USHL), Swiss A League (NLA), and Deutsche Eishockey Ligue (DEL).

The Swiss team playing in Toronto will be led by forward Pius Suter, who has scored 32 points in 31 games for the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League. He will be joined by defenceman Phil Baltisberger, a defenceman for the Guelph Storm who played for Switzerland in the U20 World Championships last year, as well as Edson Harlacher, a defenceman playing for the Kloten Flyers of the Swiss A League following a season with the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League (WHL).

The German team playing in Montreal will be led by defenceman Kai Wissman, a 1996 defenceman who has been rated for the 2015 NHL Draft by NHL Central Scouting, as well as two players from the United States Hockey League.

The tournament will run from December 26, 2014 until January 5, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec.
