Six represent countries at the World Junior Championships

Six players are representing their countries at the premier junior hockey event in the World

 

(Malmo, SWE) — Six players will be representing their countries at the World Junior Championships in Malmo, Sweden during seasons when each of them has excelled in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), United States Hockey League (USHL) and Deutsche Eishockey Ligue (DEL).

This group is led by defenseman Phil Baltisberger, currently rated by the NHL Central Scouting for the 2014 NHL Draft, and playing for the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League. He will be playing for Switzerland.

Goaltender Marvin Cupper of the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL will be starting in net for the German team for the majority of games at the tournament.

The tournament will run from December 26, 2013 until January 5, 2014 in Malmo, Sweden.
