Four players drafted to the National Hockey League

(Dallas, TX) — Four players were drafted to the National Hockey League held in Dallas, Texas on June 22-23, 2018.

Noah Dobson (Summerside, PEI), a mobile, 6’3, 195 lbs defenceman was selected 12th overall by the New York Islanders.  Dobson, who won the Memorial Cup with the Acadie-Bathurst Titans of the QMJHL in May, had 17-52-69 points in 67 games this past season.

Hunter Drew (Kingston, ON) a strong 6’2, 187 lbs blueliner was selected in the 6th round (178th overall) after spending the 2017-18 season with the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHL.  Drew recorded 8-31-39 points in 64 regular season games this past season.

Two other NCAA eligible players were drafted in 5th and 7th rounds.
