Noah Dobson named to QMJHL 1st All-Star team

Guelph, ON – Defenseman Noah Dobson (Summerside, PEI) of the top-ranked Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, was named to the QMJHL 1st All-Star team as announced by the league.

Dobson, who was a 1st round draft pick (12th overall) of the New York Islanders in 2018, has recorded 15 goals and 37 assists for 52 points in 56 games between Rouyn-Noranda and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan this season.

The 6.03, 178 lbs. blueliner was also a member of the Team Canada U-20 World Junior team this past winter.

His Huskies team is currently ranked #1 in the CHL with a record of 58-9-0-1 and first place overall in the QMJHL.  Last season Dobson was a member of the Memorial Cup Champion Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

Rouyn-Noranda currently enjoys a 2-0 series lead vs the Rimouski Oceanic in the QMJHL Semi-Finals.
