(Halifax, NS) -- Ten M&T clients are competing in the 2023 World Junior Hockey Championships at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, N.S. and Avenir Centre in Moncton, N.B. from Dec. 26, 2022 to Jan. 5 2023.
On Team Austria is defenseman David Reinbacher (EHC Kloten- Swiss National League), who is highly rated in the NHL Draft for 2023 and has 2 goals and 12 assists in 26 games in the professional Swiss National League.
On Team Sweden is Florida Panthers prospect blueliner Ludvig Jansson (Södertälje- Allsvenskan), who was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the 4th round of the 2022 NHL Draft.
On Team Switzerland is forward Jonas Taibel (Moncton Wildcats- QMJHL), defenseman Maximilian Streule (Blainville-Boisbriand Armada- QMJHL), centerman Jeremy Prada (Bern U20), goaltender Alessio Beglieri (Mississauga Steelheads- OHL), and goaltender Mathieu Croce (Davos U20).
On Team Latvia is centerman Rodzers Bukarts (GCK Lions U20).
On Team Germany is goaltender Simon Wolf (Red Bull Hockey Juniors- Alps) and defenseman Rayan Bettahar (Eisbären Berlin- DEL).
