(Phoenix, AZ) -- Forward Liam O'Brien (Bedford, NS) has signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
The 27-year old winger spent the 2020-21 season with Colorado Avalanche organization. The 6-1, 214lb. forward split his season with the parent club and their AHL affiliate Colorado Eagles.
O'Brien previously spent six seasons in the Washington Capitals organization between 2014-2020.
The Nova Scotia forward played four seasons in the CHL for the Rimouski Oceanic and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the QMJHL.
Age age 16, O'Brien was selected in the 1st round, 14th overall in the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft by the Oceanic out of the Notre Dame Hounds (SK) U18 program.
