Ryan Roobroeck first OHL player to score 40+ goals in his draft-minus-one Season in a decade.

(Guelph, ON) -- According to popular hockey website, Eliteprospects, Ryan Roobroeck became the first OHL player in the last decade to score 40+ goals in his draft-minus-one season.  The Niagara IceDogs forward is a top name to watch for the 2026 NHL Draft.

This season the 17-year old winger has 40 goals and 42 assists for 82 points with 2 games remaining in his OHL season.


The London, ON native was the Ice Dogs 1st round selection (2nd overall) in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection out of the London Jr. Knights (MHAO).
